Although trained in physiological plant ecology I have worked in ornithology for the past ten years. My ornithological interests are changing and I am currently interested in the effects of 4-aminopyridine on development of birds. I am also studying shore bird migration in north central Texas. In the future I hope to initiate studies on the allelopathic effects of pioneer weed species on crop plants.
