SEQUENCE STRATIGRAPHY (3 - 0)

Description: This course introduces sequence stratigraphy within context of all stratigraphy and history of sequence stratigraphy. Includes overview of sequence stratigraphy principles. Review of basic fundamental concepts of surface- and facies-based physical stratigraphy. Review of architectural element analysis, sequence stratigraphic in seismic, borehole expression of sequences and overview of subsurface stratigraphic techniques.
