|My research includes performing stability analysis on system included in the N-body problem. My main focus is on the cases where N = 3,4 so that it can be applied to extrasolar planetary systems in binary star systems. I use tools from chaos theory such as Lyapunov exponent to analyze and perform numerical simulations of the orbits in a general parameter space concerning mass and distance. We use computer languages (Fortran, C++, Java, Matlab) to develop our numerical tools as well as utilize previously developed integration packages (Swifter, Mercury, NBI). Our future goals in this research are to further develop theoretical tools to determine orbital stability and perform analysis on data from the Kepler space telescope.
