[Current Research] [Magnetic Beam] [Electrostatic Beam] [Time of Flight System]
We are constructing a new PAES beam line at the BNL High Flux Positron Beam which will produce a positron flux time 100 times greater than currently be obtained at PAES systems elsewhere. The use of the BNL beam will reduce the time needed for high resolution PAES measurements from hours down to minutes. It will therefore be possible to extend high resolution measurements to include studies of thin film growth dynamics and of unstable multicomponent and overlayer systems.
