The Department of Physics held its annual back-to-school picnic for its faculty, staff, students and prospective students. Activities for the crowd included an obstacle course, water slide, 'extreme' merry-go-round, disc golf, soccer, volleyball and a live band. The picnic provides an opportunity for the department to welcome everyone back to school, introduce new faculty and students, and invite prospective students to mingle. Even though this year's picnic had a couple of rain delays everyone kept the party going long after dark. Thanks to everyone who helped in the festivities and we look forward to next year. |
