  • Description of Research

I am currently in the process of undertaking several research endeavors that attempt to gain an understanding of how information is best transferred among individuals, and how new modes of technology affect such transference. For example, I am currently implementing a formal academic peer mentoring program at the university - that will occur solely through the use of computer-mediated communication. Furthermore, I am examining the specific ways in which communication media affect interpersonal relationships, in addition to examining differences that occur between dyadic- and team-level communications. Finally, I am investigating the potential benefits, and also detriments, of providing preparatory training for individuals before partaking in such relationships.
