Multiple Alumni Tapped for Principal Roles at AISD

Arlington I.S.D. has appointed several UTA graduates to roles as principals or assistant principals within the district.

Several graduates from UT Arlington programs, including the M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, have been appointed to some of the highest administrative positions in Arlington I.S.D. schools.

February 8, 2023, the following appointment were made by Arlington ISD:

  • Diana Genis (UTA 2011), Assistant Principal at Morton Elementary School

November 9, 2023, the following appointment were made by Arlington ISD:

  • Margaret Minyard (B.S 2003), Principal at Ditto Elementary School

September 7, 2023, the following appointment were made by Arlington ISD:

  • Vanessa Vasquez (UTA 2011 & 2016), Assistant Principal at Arlington High School
  • Dr. Nicholas Thompson-Davis (UTA 2009, 2017, 2022), Assistant Principal at Lamar High School
