Why did you choose to attend UT Arlington?

- It's close to home and they have a welcoming environment.

What is your favorite thing about the College of Education at UT Arlington?

 - The advisors, professors, and the community.

Who is your favorite professor or staff member? Why?

- Courtney Jones, she's always so bubbly and willing to help anyone out.

What class have you enjoyed the most?

- Astronomy

What activities or hobbies do you participate in outside of class?

- I work 2 jobs and I'm an ambassador for the College Of Education.

What are your plans after graduation? When you think about your future career in education, what excites you the most? 

- Get straight into teaching math and work my way up to secondary education. I'm most excited about decorating my classroom and giving my students a safe and fun environment to learn.

What is the one thing you think a prospective Education student needs to know?

- Keep pushing. Communicate with people in your class because those are the people that you're going to see every day moving forward. The people you graduate with.

Have you overcome any challenges that you feel would help inspire other Education majors?

- Being more sociable. I've opened a lot and become more vocal and comfortable.
