The UTA Art & Art History Department DEI Committee is very pleased to announce the selection of four student IDEA Fellows.
The IDEA Fellowship program focuses on the tenets of inclusivity, diversity, equity, and access. Applicants are asked to propose arts-based projects founded in these ethics and focused on community engagement. The four fellows selected will receive funding to complete their proposed projects between November 2021 and April 2022 with an exhibition/symposium planned for April 2022.
The 2021-2022 A&AH IDEA Fellows are:
Paula Currie, senior art major concentrating in art education and minoring in art history
Reyna Ramirez, junior art major concentrating in painting and minoring in art history
Shayna Sutton, junior art major concentrating in sculpture and minoring in African American studies
Ezriel (Izzy) Wilson, junior art history major and minoring in French
