Kimberly S. Evans, LCSW is a Coordinator with the UTA School of Social Work Title IV-E Child Welfare Program. After a 22-year career with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS), she now recruits, mentors, and supports students and child welfare professionals pursuing social work education and careers in child welfare. Her extensive practice experience helps connect child welfare research, education, and workforce development to improve outcomes for children and families.
