Pingnan Li

Pingnan Li, MSW, MBA, is a Ph.D. student with an interdisciplinary academic and professional background. Her research focuses on neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan, including youth, emerging adults, adults, and aging populations with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), other neurodevelopmental conditions, and highly sensitive traits, as well as the well-being of their families and support systems.
She examines how family and social determinants influence the mental and physical health of these populations using longitudinal and cross-sectional quantitative analyses. Ultimately, she aims to translate her research findings into effective prevention and intervention programs that promote the well-being of neurodivergent individuals and their families across the lifespan.
In addition to her academic research, Pingnan is a certified Positive Discipline Parenting Educator who writes extensively about parenting and child and youth development on her personal blog. Outside of academia, she enjoys strength training, roller coasters, and gardening.
