Kelli Rogers

Kelli Rogers, LMSW, received her BSW from Texas Woman’s University in 2007, where she graduated Cum Laude and was a member of the Phi Alpha National Social Work Honor Society, and her MSW from Texas A&M - Commerce in 2010. After receiving her BSW and while working through her MSW, Kelli worked as a Conservatorship Worker and Family Based Safety Services Worker for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. With over 10 years of practice experience, she has also worked as a foster parent recruiter and development specialist as well as a hospice social worker. Kelli’s research interests combine her passion for advancing the well-being of children and families, increasing success for African American children and youth, and education. Her primary research interests include addressing disparities in education and child development and school readiness skills in economically and socially disadvantaged children.
