Action Needed: Preparing to Move
Dear UTA Employees,
Two weeks ago, we announced our upcoming transition from TimeClock Plus (TCP) to UTShare Timekeeping and Absence Management. As we get closer to this change, we need your help to ensure a smooth start.
Here’s what you need to know and do now:
- Use Accrued Time: Work with your leadership team to use any accrued straight-time hours before the spring. TCP now uses straight time first, before vacation or sick leave, to help you use up this time.
- New Time-Off Requests: Do not enter new requests in TCP for dates after February 28, 2026. These requests will not transfer to UTShare. Instead, coordinate with your leadership to track them internally.
- Existing Time-Off Requests: Any requests already entered in TCP for dates after February 28, 2026 will be removed.
We understand that changes like this can feel like a big shift, but moving to UTShare will make timekeeping and absence management smoother and more efficient for everyone. Thank you for your support in helping us launch strong!
We’ll share more details and training opportunities as we get closer to go-live.
