Action Needed: Preparing to Move
As we prepare for the March 1 launch of UTShare Timekeeping and Absence Management, we would like to share an important update regarding the transition timeline.
Based on employee and manager feedback indicating that a leave request blackout period would create challenges, and following updated guidance and system configuration adjustments, the previously communicated blackout period has been removed. Leave requests in TCP are now available during the transition period from February 15 through February 28.
Action Required:
- Employees must ensure their time and absence requests are entered into TCP as soon as possible. No submissions can be made after February 28th.
- Timekeepers and Managers must review and approve all time and absence entries or corrections in TCP no later than Saturday, February 28. This is a change to the previous approval deadline in TCP.
- Entering and approving leave in advance will help ensure accurate records and minimize the risk of delays, corrections, or missing time after go-live.
Thank you for your continued cooperation and for the valuable feedback that helped inform this updated transition approach. Taking these steps now will support a smooth and successful implementation of UTShare Timekeeping and Absence Management.
