Information Security Office

The Information Security Office manages the University’s Information Security Program by providing security governance, risk assessment, and cybersecurity oversight to protect institutional information resources. We focus on ensuring that security risks are identified, understood, and communicated so University leadership can make informed decisions that balance security, academic freedom, and operational needs. Our office oversees security compliance with federal, state, and UT System security requirements and works closely with campus partners—including the Office of Information Technology, Legal Affairs, Research Administration, and University Compliance—to promote a secure and resilient environment for teaching, learning, and research.
