Meet Alexis
I wanted to be a pride peer because I wanted to connect with my community and help educate my fellow peers and allies about different topics within the LGBTQ+ community. I believe creating a welcoming environment for those that are still closeted or even those that have been out for years is important because we can all learn from each other’s experiences. Helping other students and building a community is what I wanted to be a part of. School can be a stressful place for everyone, but having a community to connect with makes campus life a lot easier.
