| Whereas | Student Congress has a bulletin board in the University Center; and |
| Whereas | Students should have an easy way to communicate with Student Congress; and |
| Whereas | 'Students Come First' at UTA. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | A suggestion box with a lock be installed on or near the Student Congress bulletin board asking students for resolution ideas along with forms. The forms should include fields for: the idea, the author (or anonymous if he or she chooses) and other information to be determined by Student Congress; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The submissions be collected by Student Congress Executive Officers on a weekly basis and made available in print to Student Congress Senators and Constituency Councils on a monthly basis. Thus, a Senator or Constituency Council can use the submissions as a basis to write and submit a resolution. Additionally, the Student Congress Executive Officers post responses to the suggestions on the board; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The student that submits the idea to the suggestion box be recognized as a co-author for the respective resolution (if he or she chooses). Finally, if the resolution were passed by Student Congress, that the person receive a certificate recognizing their contribution to the Student Governance process and any additional gifts the Student Congress Executive Officers would like to award. |
