Whereas | It would be great to give the campus community constant reminders of significant historical facts about UTA; and |
Whereas | UTA's image would be enhanced and students more knowledgeable; and |
Whereas | Campus Tours could follow the route. |
Be It Further Resolved That | Landmarks be posted at key sites around campus, with fun and factual information about that building. For example, in front of Texas Hall a sign will read, 'Home of the Movin'Mavs, 6 time National Champions' or College Hall would read 'Oldest Building on Campus, built in 1914'; or perhaps in front of the Activities Building, 'Olympian Doug Russell began his 2 gold medal career here', etc.; and |
Be It Further Resolved That | That the University begin this project immediately. |
