Whereas Each year students provide a greater percent of the University's operating budget than the state; and
Whereas Many departments and other groups on campus receive funds directly from student fees; and
Whereas Students, as customers of the University, have a right to have a voice in the quality of service they receive for their money.
Be It Further Resolved That The University conduct a survey of the relevant student groups to determine their satisfaction with the services provided by each group or department that receives funding from student fee monies; and
Be It Further Resolved That This survey be conducted once every three sixteen-week semesters by a group other than the department the survey is about; and
Be It Further Resolved That The semester the survey is conducted for each department is staggered so that the survey for every department does not occur in the same semester; and
Be It Further Resolved That The results of this survey be made available to Student Congress, the Constituency Councils as well as The Shorthorn; and
Be It Further Resolved That The most recent results be attached to any requests for fee increases.
