| Whereas | Departments sometimes desire to permanently reserve student parking spaces; and |
| Whereas | In other cases student parking spaces are used for special purposes on a long term basis; and |
| Whereas | Students are paying each semester for their parking privileges. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | Notice be posted in the relevant areas that specific student parking spaces are being considered for conversion to non-student or other special-use status; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | A procedure for the approval of requests to convert student parking spaces to other use be developed; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | This procedure includes input and feedback from the relevant constituency or other student group. |
