Whereas The course Chemistry 4311 (Biochemistry I) is currently a chemistry upper elective; and
Whereas Biology majors, who are pre-medical and pre-dental students, enroll in the course to help strengthen their science background in preparation of their professional degree; and
Whereas The course should also count toward an upper level Biology elective since the subject matter is an amalgam of biology, genetics, chemistry, and organic chemistry.
Be It Further Resolved That Chemistry 4311 is offered as an upper science elective to the biology students.
