| Whereas | The Brazos House parking lot is now behind the University Center due to construction of the new resident hall; and |
| Whereas | Brazos Residents must move in and out, carry groceries, etc. from the new Brazos Parking lot; and |
| Whereas | It is a safety concern for the Brazos Residents returning home late at night to walk all the way from the parking lot to the building; and |
| Whereas | The Brazos residents use the north end of the West Street between Brazos House and College Hall as their loading zone; and |
| Whereas | The north end of West Street between Brazos House and College Hall is currently a 'No Parking Any Time Zone'; and |
| Whereas | The university is planning to turn West Stree int o a pedestrian sidewalk, and the Health Center parking lot behind Brazos House cannot be used as a loading zone due to fiber optic construction. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The north end of West Street between Brazos House and College Hall be designated as a 15 minute Loading Zone for only the Residents of Brazos with Brazos parking tags. |
