| Whereas | The College of Engineering has eighteen student organizations; and |
| Whereas | With only four large display cases assigned to the major professional organizations, three general kiosk posting areas, and one student governance controlled display area, there are not enough display locations available to post fliers when other university organizations are also posting fliers; and |
| Whereas | The current policy states that signs may not be attached to or posted on inside or outside brick, concrete, or masonry structures, including bridges without having specific approval. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | These organizations be allowed to post their signs on the brick walls inside the building because allowing these organizations to post in such locations would make them more visible to the students they are trying to reach. |
