Remarks FAILED - These rooms currently meet all requirements set forth in the ADA.
Whereas The Life Science Building does not realistically accommodate handicap students at UTA; and
Whereas Sitting in the back row of the classroom does not enable students to see the projector, and lighting is poor; and
Whereas Rooms 118 and 119 (the two largest lecture halls) slant downward from the back to the front, therefore forcing handicap students to sit in back of the classroom, behind the last row.
Be It Further Resolved That Life Science rooms 118 and 119 be modified to better accommodate wheelchairs and other handicap students so that they may sit near the front of the classroom.
