| Whereas | There has been a concern raised on the privacy of information on students, faculty and staff that other people can view through our search engine on our web page; and |
| Whereas | This information such as name, major and phone number available to anybody who wants to view them; and |
| Whereas | This information can be used by anybody to get information on the student, faculty or staff member. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | An internet security device be put into place that will let only students, faculty and staff, access directory information from the web using your SS# and code that you currently use for SAM. |
