| Whereas | Tuition has recently been increased to cover costs of courses and increasing salaries, and many students are living on an extremely limited budget; and |
| Whereas | Many departments and professors of these departments require students to purchase a packet of copied materials either from a textbook, or as a study guides or work sheets; and |
| Whereas | These copied packets can end up costing the students a significant amount of money when they are purchased at Bird's copies or another private print shop; and |
| Whereas | These packets could be produced much more cheaply by the University Departments. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | All packets required by professors and departments be available to students free of additional charge; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | This process be implemented through WebCT, or a similar system such as Blackboard. |
