| Whereas | The current chemistry labs are outdated and unsafe, creating safety hazards for students and faculty; and |
| Whereas | The chemistry labs are outdated in comparison to other universities; and |
| Whereas | The Science department and UTA administration recognize the problems of the current Science Hall; and |
| Whereas | They currently seek to move construction of a new Science Hall to the top of the list for construction the Master Plan; and |
| Whereas | The support of Student Congress will assist the Administration in rallying funds to be made available for immediate construction. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The Student Congress voice support for the construction of a new Science Hall to be moved immediately to the top of the Master plan for University of Texas at Arlington. |
