Whereas	The majority of fraternity and sorority houses on UTA campus are located on 2nd Street between Nedderman Drive and Davis St.; and
Whereas	Other campuses have a street called 'Greek Row' where the fraternity and sorority houses are located; and
Whereas	There is a current push to make UTA a more traditional school, and UTA already recognizes Greek Row by a sign in the Zeta Tau Alpha lawn; and
Whereas	Many, but not all, campus leaders belong to either a fraternity or sorority; and
Whereas	The Greek system at UTA nurtures leadership, scholarship, school involvement, school pride, and community service.
Be It Further Resolved That	The University of Texas at Arlington petition the City of Arlington to formally name the section of 2nd Street between Davis Street and Nedderman Drive as either Greek Row or Greek Row Drive and for it to be designated as such with street signs.
