| Whereas | Tuition at UTA is increasing every semester, and books are not covered in tuition; and |
| Whereas | Some professors have 5 or more required textbooks for their class and the price of these text books can become really expensive, especially when combined with the rest of a student's books; and |
| Whereas | These textbooks are not always utilized in the course. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | Professors have a 3 required textbook limit, for each course, and any additional texts will be considered recommended texts. |
