| Whereas | To obtain an apartment on the UTA campus a student must place their name on a waiting list; and |
| Whereas | Students can have their name on a waiting list for only one apartment; and |
| Whereas | The waiting lists start over every three months; and |
| Whereas | The new names and those that were previously on the list are randomly assigned to the updated lists by the housing office; and |
| Whereas | Students can idenfinitely have their name on the waiting list and never obtain an apartment. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The housing office change the policy on obtaining apartments so that students can sign up on more than one list; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | When the lists start over every three months, names that were previously on the list cannot be placed any lower on these lists than they were before. |
