| Whereas | M.O.A.R. provides new freshman an opportunity to learn about UTA, register for classes, meet new people, and learn about life at UTA; and |
| Whereas | Students who attend M.O.A.R. are more prepared for the start of school; and |
| Whereas | The University recognizes the benefits of M.O.A.R. by requiring it for all CAP and GATEWAY students; and |
| Whereas | Student Congress has a vested interest in helping prepare and educate student about the opportunities at UTA. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | M.O.A.R. be required for all incoming freshman to help acclimate them to college life. |
