| Whereas | Students in the College of Liberal Arts are required to have six hours of foreign language above the first year eight hours courses; and |
| Whereas | This issue has become a great concern among Liberal Arts students; and |
| Whereas | This resolution is common ground for Liberal Arts students and faculty. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | Liberal Arts advisors be given the discretion to allow a student to take their last six hours of foreign language pass/fail; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | This resolution is acted on as soon as it passes Student Congress. |
