| Remarks | FAILED - Expensive, difficult to secure, maintenance issues, and the pianos are rarely used at other campuses. |
| Whereas | Many of the more traditional universities such as UT-Austin, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and others have a grand piano in their student center; and |
| Whereas | Having a piano would be a benefit to our student body by making the atmosphere here more enjoyable for studying, lunch, etc.; and |
| Whereas | It would also help make our school more appealing to businesses and new students. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The University buy a grand piano to be placed in the University Center. |
