Remarks FAILED - Too costly to be able to properly implement this. Would require underclassmen to park in remote lots.
Whereas Juniors and seniors have many responsibilities on campus and off; and
Whereas Many serve in different organizations and participate in a variety of activities which cause them to be on campus often; and
Whereas They generally have off campus jobs and must come back on campus for their organizational meetings and activities; and
Whereas Parking is limited and far away from campus buildings; and
Whereas Other universities such as Denison University have a seniority parking system; and
Whereas The Faculty and Staff have designated parking and different color hangtags.
Be It Further Resolved That Juniors and Seniors are given priority parking in first two to three rows of the parking lots closer to buildings and should be given distinguishing color hang tags and signs designating Junior and Senior parking; and
Be It Further Resolved That This resolution take effect in the Spring of 1999.
