| Remarks | FAILED - Withdrawn because of the failure of 99-24, which asked for essentially the same thing. |
| Whereas | Student Congress Executive Officers such as the Secretary, Treasurer, Parliamentarian, and Program Director, are elected to carry out the everyday business of the Congress; and |
| Whereas | The time they spend in the office, attending meetings and Student Congress activities generally exceed their assigned office hours; and |
| Whereas | They generally have off campus jobs and personal business which take them away from campus, but must return to complete their Student Congress tasks, attend meetings, and facilitate Student Congress sponsored activities; and |
| Whereas | It is a hassle for the Student Congress President and Vice President are assigned Faculty decals, however, other executive officers are not; and |
| Whereas | It is a hassle for Student Congress Executive Officers to find parking close to the UC when they must leave campus and return to continue their work, attend meetings, and/or appear at different Student Congress activities. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The Student Congress Secretary, Treasurer, Parliamentarian and Program Director should be given the same rights as the Student Congress President and Vice President, and therefore should be assigned a Faculty Parking decal so that they have closer parking to the UC for Student Congress Business; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | This resolution become effective immediately after passage. |
