| Remarks | FAILED - $10 is like other universities in the area. If the fee were $2, it might encourage students to lose their cards, then resulting in more expensive cards and a cancellation of the usefulness of this bill. |
| Whereas | The students are charged $8.00 per semester to renew their Mav Express card; and |
| Whereas | If the card is lost, the student is charged an additional $10.00; and |
| Whereas | That is too high if UTA is going to charge semester fees. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | A new ID should be mailed to the students each semester, or the replacement fee be lowered to a reasonable amount such as $2.00. |
