Remarks | FAILED - Other schools have higher fines. Deferred adjudication would be too cumbersome. Many other schools do not even waive the first violation. |
Whereas | During the Summer break of 1998, the Police Department announced increasing the number of violations written; and |
Whereas | The Police department waive one fine per semester with good reason; and |
Whereas | The TX Municipal Courts give deferred adjudication for Motor Violations. |
Be It Further Resolved That | The Police Department give the second violation 30 days deferred adjudication; if no other violations are commited during this period, the violation will be dismissed, or if violated the student will have to pay for the fine plus a new fine. |
