| Whereas | Graduation is held in Texas Hall; and |
| Whereas | Texas Hall contains a large number of seats; and |
| Whereas | Many people attend graduation each semester; and |
| Whereas | The lack of ushers to facilitate this process leads to confusion and overall unpleasant experience at graduation. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The University of Texas at Arlington provide ushers at graduation to help with seating and to perform ushering tasks as needed during the ceremonies. |
