Remarks | FAILED - Current state law does not allow for differences in tuition for a specific group. |
Whereas | Internships are an important factor in the academic career of students; and |
Whereas | Most undergraduate internships are unpaid; and |
Whereas | The cost of tuition is a burden fo many students; and |
Whereas | Internships do not use University resources to the same extent as a class; and |
Whereas | A student is still required to pay full tuition and fees for these internships. |
Be It Further Resolved That | The University charge a different rate for internships that is more reflective of the resources used by internships. |
