Remarks FAILED - Current state law does not allow for differences in tuition for a specific group.
Whereas Internships are an important factor in the academic career of students; and
Whereas Most undergraduate internships are unpaid; and
Whereas The cost of tuition is a burden fo many students; and
Whereas Internships do not use University resources to the same extent as a class; and
Whereas A student is still required to pay full tuition and fees for these internships.
Be It Further Resolved That The University charge a different rate for internships that is more reflective of the resources used by internships.
