Remarks FAILED - Too costly to have a separate gated parking for upperclassmen.
Whereas The parking situation on campus is, at times, very difficult; and
Whereas UTA is seeking to increase retention of students; and
Whereas Giving small, yet appreciable, benefits to the upper-class students can encourage retention; and
Whereas The most noticeable benefit would be reserved parking.
Be It Further Resolved That UTA initiate a new parking system by which a number of close spaces be reserved by academic class year.
