| Whereas | Students will have to pay $48 this year for a parking permit, and faculty will have to pay as much as $75; and |
| Whereas | To add to the confusion, most students will agree that finding a parking place is a difficult task; and |
| Whereas | Since the fees for parking permits go into school funds, it would seem logical that UTA would look into the possibility of building a new parking high rise to accommodate students; and |
| Whereas | Maverick High-rise, the only on-capus parking garage, is not owned by UTA. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | UTA investigate fund raising to raise money for a parking high-rise, or parking fees be reduced. |
