| Whereas | Student Congress passes resolutions every semester; and |
| Whereas | A resolution often has to go through many channels before it is implemented; and |
| Whereas | There is a tendency to leave passed resolutions unattended; and |
| Whereas | The number of Student Congress Representatives has recently increased due to procedural changes. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | Student Congress form a new standing committee, and it shall take the place of the Public Relations Committee that was removed prior to the membership increase; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | That the Student Congress President shall serve as chair of this committee. |
