| Whereas | It is annoying to run into the doors of the University Center when walking in or out of the building; and |
| Whereas | It would not be difficult for the physical plant and/or the maintenance department to fix each set of doors so that they are hinged on the same side; and |
| Whereas | It would be greatly appreciated by the students that continually run into doors in the UC because they forget that they are hinged on opposite sides. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The university physical plant, and/or maintenance department, and/or whoever is in charge of maintaining the doors fix the entrance doors to the University Center so that each set (set being the doors lined up with each other when one opens an entrance door) of doors opens on the same side; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | That this resolution takes effect immediately. |
