| Whereas | UTA is known to have an inadequate amount of parking spaces; and |
| Whereas | The parking spaces that are available to students should facilitate their walk to class without posing a danger; and |
| Whereas | Parking lot #52 on the 1995-96 UTA parking map is used by a wide array of students; and |
| Whereas | There is no sidewalk for students to walk on while going to and from classes; and |
| Whereas | This forces students to either walk in the street with the cars or dodge cars while crossing the street illegally; and |
| Whereas | This poses a serious threat to the health and safety of the students. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | A sidewalk be constructed that connects parking lot #52 to Mitchell Street; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | This sidewalk be in place by Fall '96. |
