Whereas The underlying cause of most environmental disasters created/caused by humankind have been economic in origin; and
Whereas Greed, and the desire for quick profit have fostered a total disregard and a complete lack of concern for the environment; and
Whereas To truly understand the impact of economics on said environment one must be exposed to curriculum contained in an introductory Environmental Science class; and
Whereas The graduates of the School of Business are among the future leaders of American and international businesses responsible for said impact on the environment.
Be It Further Resolved That All students within the College of Business be required to enroll in an introductory Environmental Science class to better comprehend the impact they will have on the environment; and
Be It Further Resolved That All future, and those Business students that have not yet completed 60 hours, be subject to this requirement; and
Be It Further Resolved That Those students that have completed 60 or more credit hours have the option to include this requirement in their degree plan; and
Be It Further Resolved That This resolution take effect immediately.
