| Whereas | The University of Texas at Arlington's phone book (The Maverick Connection) is meant to facilitate communication within the campus and the surrounding community; and |
| Whereas | The phone book is distributed within the community to provide a quick, accurate listing of phone numbers for contacting whomever one needs to contact; and |
| Whereas | Misprinted information in the phone book is detrimental to this goal, and facilitates not communication but frustration. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The University compile and distribute at the beginning of each spring semester a supplement to the Maverick Connection containing corrections of all misprinted information; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | That this supplement be called The Maverick Correction; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | This resolution take effect immediately. |
