Whereas With the exception of the Student Congress President and Vice President positions, the executive committee consists of Student Congress members voted into their positions by their peers in Student Congress; and
Whereas Each position on the executive committee is integral to the proper functioning of Student Congress; and
Whereas The loss of any one executive in the midst of Student Congress' session is detrimental to the effectiveness of Student Congress; and
Whereas Executives are no longer considered representatives of their colleges after becoming executives, but representatives of Student Congress as a whole
Be It Further Resolved That Members of the executive committee forfeit their positions as representatives only in cases where a general election is lost in the middle of their term, and retain their executive position; and
Be It Further Resolved That Said executive committee members keep all privileges afforded their positions, with the exception of voting rights; and
Be It Further Resolved That This resolution takes effect immediately.
