Remarks IMPLEMENTED - University President asked Provost Taylor to implement this
Whereas Four semesters of a foreign language are required for most degrees; and
Whereas The foreign language lab is an integral part of the courses; and
Whereas Due to the current lab schedule it is hard for those students who work to make full use of the lab; and
Whereas When the lab was operating at extended hours last year it was in use at all times, and not empty.
Be It Further Resolved That More priority will be given to the need for the language lab to be open more, especially on weekends; and
Be It Further Resolved That The student body supports an increase in the computer use fee that students pay and funds be used to aid the language lab in its endeavor to increase hours of operation; and
Be It Further Resolved That The language lab materials be made available in the library reserved collection.
