Remarks FAILED - University president said it was unnecessary to have a referendum, and "existing structures" should be used.
Whereas Students are greatly affected when unexpected fees are added to tuition; and
Whereas Students should have a say in what and why fees are added to tuition.
Be It Further Resolved That Before any compulsory fees are created or increased that students be provided with information about the fee through the Shorthorn; and
Be It Further Resolved That A referendum be held to measure student support of the proposal during Student Congress elections; and
Be It Further Resolved That If students fail to show a majority (51%) in favor of, or any support in the vote taken that the new or added compulsory fee not or added compulsory fee not be added to student's bills.
