Remarks IMPLEMENTED
Whereas Student Congress meets every Tuesday night at 6pm; every member knows of this meeting time; and
Whereas Student Congress only meets an average of thirteen times during a semester; and
Whereas Members cannot represent their constituents if they are not present; and
Whereas There has been an increasing number of absences of representatives; and
Whereas It is understood that unforseen circumstances arise.
Be It Further Resolved That Student Congress Representatives be allowed a total of three(3) absences per six(6) month term or per semester; and
Be It Further Resolved That There will be no excused or unexcused absences; and
Be It Further Resolved That Once the representative acquires three(3) absences s/he will be removed from Congress; and
Be It Further Resolved That This will take effect in the Fall 1994 term.
