Whereas | Student Congress meets every Tuesday night at 6pm; every member knows of this meeting time; and |
Whereas | Student Congress only meets an average of thirteen times during a semester; and |
Whereas | Members cannot represent their constituents if they are not present; and |
Whereas | There has been an increasing number of absences of representatives; and |
Whereas | It is understood that unforseen circumstances arise. |
Be It Further Resolved That | Student Congress Representatives be allowed a total of three(3) absences per six(6) month term or per semester; and |
Be It Further Resolved That | There will be no excused or unexcused absences; and |
Be It Further Resolved That | Once the representative acquires three(3) absences s/he will be removed from Congress; and |
Be It Further Resolved That | This will take effect in the Fall 1994 term. |
